This is the original landing page pushed to my site on April 27th, 2026.
Iām Jesse and this is my digital garden. šŖ“
I hope you enjoy your visit! š¤
My garden isnāt very organized yet, but Iām okay with this. šŖ
With time, the pots and compost bins will find their homes, and Iāll take time to landscape. I encourage you to embrace this for what it is: a collection of writings by someone that isnāt looking to optimize their search engine ranking or garner likes and comments.
Whether Iāve shared my site with you personally for professional or leisurely interests, or if you somehow found yourself here through chance, I hope that it conveys a few small things:
Iām putting myself out there as a form of self-expression, reflection, and development.
Iām embracing non-performative content.
I value places where I can not only learn, but help others learn in kind. Whether that be a role I applied for or a community Iāve found myself in.
Iām invested in preserving my sense-of-self and fostering resilience from mono-cultures: algorithmic, self-referred, or seclusionary.
The world isnāt slowing down for anyone without the effort of everyone. Introducing small acts of friction into your day can be meaningful and an act of punk-like mindfulness. I hope Thich Nhat Hanh would be proud to see someone finding peace in every step, even if those steps are choosing to use their own website over macro-web platforms.
Itās easy to forget that we didnāt always keep the world in our pocket. I miss when it was purposeful to connect to communities and more common to spend time in reflection.
Iām still learning a lot about maintaining a garden, and Iām sure a lot will change. But thatās what gardens do - they bloom, overgrow, shrink back, get pruned, and bear fruit.
Please explore, take some seeds, and plant your own,
